Pérez Art Museum
The Pérez Art Museum Miami, often regarded as PAMM, is a sleek contemporary art museum located in Downtown Miami. Since the PAMM opened its doors on the bay in 2013, its critically-acclaimed architecture by Herzog & de Meuron has been as much of a draw as its art displays. Hanging vertical gardens and views of Biscayne Bay and Millenium Park make for great vacation photo-ops, and its permanent collections of Americana art proudly represent artists of the Western Hemisphere. The museum is located mere blocks from YVE Hotel Miami, and its ever-changing displays and exhibitions make it a regular destination for any time you’re in town.
The Pérez Art Museum is located 1 mile north of YVE Hotel Miami. We suggest you save on parking and walk up Biscayne Boulevard, headed toward the FTX Arena. Following the arena on the right, the PAMM is nestled in Museum Park in front of Biscayne Bay.
If rain or heat hinders your walk, opt for the free downtown transit, Metromover. Catch the electrically-powered “people mover” from College Bayside Station, located on NE 3rd Street (from YVE Hotel, take a left on Biscayne Bay, then another left on NE 3rd). Take the Metromover three stops until you reach the 11th Street Station. Exit toward to the right of the tracks toward the bay on NE 11th, which will lead you straight to Museum Park. The PAMM is tucked away in the north eastern edge of the park.
